The best of Jude Acers’ chess writings, selected games, combinations and endgames

Jude talksDear Jude Acers fans,

We are in the process of compiling select Jude games, favorite combinations, favorite endgame excerpts, endgame studies and unpublished Jude annotations and articles for a book on Jude’s chess content.

MC picWe are deeply interested in publishing this book preserving Jude’s unique contributions to chess analysis and literature. I believe chess fans worldwide will find much entertainment, and valuable instruction, in a compendium of Jude’s best chess works and chess positions.

Jude is one of the most hard working chess writers and analyst I have ever known. I had the privilege in the late 70s and early 80s to co-author a number of articles and annotate many games with Jude. I can attest to the first rate analysis and painstaking efforts he put forth in his writings and annotations.

Jude has written voluminously about chess since the early 1960’s. Much of his work remains in library archives and, regrettably, some has been lost over time.

I will be including selected positions and games from Jude’s ‘World Chess Table’ Decatur Street, New Orleans play in addition to his formal tournament and match play. If you have an entertaining game you have played with Jude, excerpt of a game, Jude article, or favorite combination from a game you contested with Jude or know of one, please feel free to share that with me.

I would be interested in your thoughts and feedback. Please contact me at: alabamachess@gmail.com

Thank you for your consideration and appreciate your continued support of the one and only Jude Acers!

Sincerely,
Michael Ciamarra
