    Classic game with methodical gain of space on the kingside with well timed pawn advances f4-g4 and f5.. Black’s dark squares are a problem for him through the whole game. Black never got any sensible counterplay. Incidentally, the line Advanced Variation versus the Caro-Kann with 4.Bd3 Bxd3 5.Qxd3 is recommended by Jude in his repertoire book The Italian Gambit. Jude practicing what he preaches!
