To the everlasting credit of embarrassed Texas Tech university officials…. they also found that a fortune in scholarship cash would  now  suddenly come from Texas Tech university coffers… no longer would begging be necessary for our new, lucky hero grandmaster Onischuk!……chess seems suddenly very worth it. and…. make no mistake…. MADAME POLGAR’S GUTSY SURVIVAL,PAID FOR IN BLOOD, LED TO FIELDS OF GOLD,THE  GLORY DAYS..may she long remember and richly enjoy this wonderful moment……….Regretfully,nothing lasts forever.. as baseball giant Babe Ruth once said on a Florida train..” I learned a long time ago kid..nothing ever really sticks…live now”… to yankee teammate Lou Gherig.
