See “Brennan’s in New Orleans Walks the Tightrope of Tradition”…Mr. Wells found the legendary calorie packed Bananas Foster breakfast traditional fare sweet and good …and the new Morphy chess room with chess set plus Morphy portrait will be a nice find when you get there. For readers just tuning in..police were called when a huge multi restaurant family split (and fistfight on premises while customers were eating!) closed the bankrupt eatery down … sold on the courthouse steps … a “neutral” family member in the distance, the crackerjack restaurant manager Mr. Ralph Brennan spent a fortune to save the legendary Morphy house … restoring law and order to boot.
