Though Jude Acers is unable to compete in the 2014 World Senior Chess Championship, he is coaching from afar as New Orleans’ own Marilyn Pelias begins play this morning in Katerini, Greece against the reigning world senior champion Yelena Ankudinova of Kazakhstan.
